"I don't set out to wind people up, what I set out to do is try and find out if people know what they're saying and they find that very annoying because I don't believe that everybody's entitled to an opinion. I believe they have to research whatever it is that they want to have an opinion on. They need to be good at making a judgement between what they think is an important piece of information and what's virtually irrelevant.
They also need to know that in expressing an opinion they're likely to do more good than bad - and I like to subject myself to those guidelines before I form an opinion. When I hear people with casual opinions which either they've adopted because they're commonly held, so they feel that they'll be popular by expressing them or simply because they are not very good at evaluating the pieces of information, then I challenge them".
